About Cheryl

A native-born Chicagoan, raised in the Portage Park area, her success is based on her first-hand knowledge of the city’s many neighborhoods, market trends and real estate values.

Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Journalism from Western Illinois University and with her desire to help people, she furthered her education with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science from Benedictine University.

Prior to her real estate career, Cheryl’s work experience included public health nutrition- helping people from different cultures and with many language barriers.  She also worked in a Senior community as a Sales Manager, helping Seniors and their families with the hard decision of moving from their lifelong homes to assisted living communities.

Cheryl received her real estate license in 2004 and worked with @properties until 2018. During that time, she furthered her real estate education with an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations. She is a registered HUD broker and when the real estate market crashed in 2007, she worked with Chase Bank as a BPO agent, preparing current sales pricing for Short Sales and REO’s. In 2018, she obtained her Managing Broker License and started her own Boutique Brokerage, CAP Realty Group.
Cheryl’s diverse background has given her the ability to excel at every level of the real estate transaction while always making the client’s happiness and success her top priority.

Cheryl resides in the Jefferson Park Neighborhood and in her spare time you can find her spending time with her husband and their 2 rescue pups, Charlie and Teddy. She loves listening to live music, going to Chicago Cubs and Bears games as well as running along the city’s beautiful lakefront.
